Murrayfield Racers have secured a major new sponsorship deal with Friends Legal.
The agreement will see the Scottish law firm’s logo displayed on the team’s shirts and rinkside at Murrayfield Ice Rink next season.
Friends Legal are one of Scotland’s fastest growing personal injury firms. They also provide employment law advice, property dispute guidance and consumer advice relating to defective products or services.
The company has a strong belief in helping local communities and local charities, in particular those which focus on helping people overcoming challenges in life, often after injury.
Racers’ Director of Hockey, Tony Hand, says the deal with Friends Legal will help to keep hockey in Edinburgh moving forward.
“It’s great to have a new sponsor on board,” he said. “They have recognised the benefits of working with us and we’re certain this will be a great partnership for both sides.
“We are committed to delivering sustainable hockey at Murrayfield and firmly believe that working with respected companies like Friends Legal can help us to achieve our aims.”
The sponsorship is a huge boost to the Racers as they bid to build on last season’s success in the Scottish National League (SNL).
The reborn club claimed the SNL title and Stuart Robertson Cup last term and will be going all out to win even more silverware during the 2019/20 campaign.
The link-up with the Racers will give Friends Legal exposure to a vast audience, with over 400,000 people using Murrayfield Ice Rink every year.
In addition, the club receives media coverage on a wide range of local, national and international platforms, creating even more opportunities for sponsors to promote their brand.
